About the event
Your local cemetery is a time capsule filled with intriguing artifacts. Each headstone is plastered with clues about the deceased, those who once walked where you’re walking now. Join Erin as she presents techniques for cemetery sleuthing and teaches us the meaning behind cemetery iconography, abbreviations, epitaphs and more.
A Beginner’s Guide to Cemetery Sleuthing will be presented by Author Erin Moulton on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the Nashua Historical Society, 5 Abbott St., Nashua, NH 03064. Doors open 6:30, presentation begins 7 pm. Refreshments will follow.
The program will take place in the comfortable library located in the Florence H. Speare Memorial Museum, 5 Abbott Street, Nashua, NH. The building is accessible with padded chairs, large bathrooms, an elevator between floors and a ramp inside from the free parking area off Crescent Street. There is no need to pre-register; this is a non-ticketed, free event.
